Updates on Countries Opening Up
Taiwan: Taiwan resumes cruise travel with island-hopping ocean cruise. Tickets were sold out so quickly because everyone wants to travel.
Philippines: Philippines re-imposes non-essential international travel ban.
Cambodia: The country has been open to some international tourists. Travellers who test negative are still required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Indonesia: International tourism is to resume as part of the final phase, which is currently slated for September, starting with Bali.
Vietnam: Vietnam evacuating 80,000 from city after three positive COVID-19 tests.
Sri Lanka:Travellers will be expected to take a COVID-19 test upon arrival, and carry a certificate of their test results throughout their stay.
Hong Kong: third wave results in public gatherings limited to two people, dining at restaurants banned
North Korea: I don't know if anyone is planning to travel to North Korea soon, but now you can't. NK declared emergency.
Australia: Australia's Victoria risks longer lockdown as coronavirus surges. Travel to and within Victoria (e.g. Melbourne) should be postponed.
Italy: Squares closed and venues shut down in Rome amid fears of second lockdown.
Spain: Spain is seeing an increase in virus, but travel will not be limited. There's no second lockdown coming.
Turkey: All travel restrictions were lifted and international flights resumed. Voluntary COVID-19 tests are being offered for just $17
United Kingdom:Quarantine-free list for people travelling to England
Canada: Nova Scotia now free of known active COVID-19 cases
